It's got an A6-4400M CPU with the integrated HD 7520G graphics. I went to AMD's website and they said that the newest supported drivers would be the Crimson 16.2.1 beta drivers which I downloaded and installed. I just recently got a notice from the AMD driver downloader that there were new drivers ready to install. Over in C: AMD Packages Drivers there's a copy of the new Crimson 17.2.1 waiting to be installed.
Does this mean that the hardware is supported under 17.2.1? That the hardware will work but will be 'unsupported'? That the Downloader is just confused? That I'm getting partial updates to some, but not all, components of the chipset? I also looked at the download page and used the specs for the manual search and landed on the 16.2.1 Beta page. The Beta driver has a glitch off some sort (for discrete GPU). It reported on startup that there would be a driver update and after the install it was still the Beta version, without the Additional settings.
Even after the update, it reported another driver update. Under Supported Products /APU /Mobile/A-Series I couldn't find the model, so it could be that it's the same behavior for APU's.
